Electronic Arts Has a Smash on its Hands With Apex Legends

Even as a new IP (set within the Titanfall universe), it managed to reach 10 million players in just 72 hours of its release.

The plot twist: EA shares were up more than 13% on Friday afternoon.

Following a surprise release (that was totally revealed days prior thanks to a whole host of leaks) Respawn and EA's Apex Legends is out in the wild.

There is so much content for fans and players to enjoy right now regarding Apex Legends from checking out our tier list for the best and worst characters as well as the best guns in the game. While the game is a traditional battle royale affair, of course, it's a somewhat different spin on the formula, as it kind of crosses Fortnite with Overwatch.

For Respawn lead Vince Zampella, the community response to Legends so far has been overwhelming. But despite all the quality-of-life improvements on hand, there's still a lot Apex Legends doesn't tell you. However, that was most likely because the other two people left before the start and not because of a lack of players.

While Apex Legends seems to be a major priority for EA right now, a Titanfall game is still reportedly in the works.

Of course, being a Battle Royale game, Epic Games sees Apex Legends as competition and seems to have deployed ads for Fortnite targeting Apex Legends players. However, it's unclear what that will look like or how it fits into what will probably be another busy release schedule of games this year.

Can You Play Apex Legends Solo? There is no option to just play solo, and by default, one member of your squad is chosen as leader to guide the rest of you to your starting point. Do let me know in the comments if this fix worked for you.
