ANTHEM Launch Trailer Tries Its Best to Get the Hype Going

Check out the image below to see confirmation that the first "event" will be called Echoes of Reality, and will be available in March! It's broken into three distinct updates that promise new events, quality of life updates, new rewards, and expanded progression system, a new Stronghold, Guilds and Leaderboards, new missions, and what they're calling "The Cataclysm".

Aside from those major points, Anthem's endgame is a lot of what's expected of it - contract missions, time-limited challenges (dailies, weeklies, monthlies), and free-roaming exploration.

BioWare and EA released a new launch trailer for Anthem ahead of its release which showed off all four of the Javelins players can pilot during their missions. One concern among gamers, pre- and post-demo, has been the length of the story mode and the quantity of endgame content.

For more on Anthem, be sure to check out a breakdown of what Anthem's Endgame content will look like from a gameplay perspective, as well as 10 minutes of a Legendary Contract on Anthem's challenging Grandmaster I difficulty.

Rarer gear can be acquired by tackling missions at harder difficulties, which run the spectrum from Easy to Normal, Hard, Grand Master, Grand Master 2, and Grand Master 3.

Finally, there are Cataclysms which the company describes as a world event which causes a physical change to the world, "like extreme weather, deluges of hostile creatures, and changes to the landscape that will reveal new mysteries to solve". Taking on Strongholds, Freeplay exploration, and Cataclysms will also introduce new enemies and challenges, with some of the best loot in the game your reward for taking part and achieving success. Anthem has six total difficulty settings, three of which are unlocked upon hitting level 30. Crafting blueprints will also enable you to obtain other gear and personalisation items, with said blueprints, crafting materials and coin earned for completing endgame objectives. Improving your reputation with different groups will give you access to crafting blueprints.
