Here's Everything to Know About the 2019 Grammys

Here's Everything to Know About the 2019 Grammys

Ehrlich told The New York Times he offered rappers Drake, Lamar and Childish Gambino possible performance slots on Sunday night's show and was rebuffed.

As for the awards, Lamar leads this year's nominations with a total of eight nods, including album of the year for the "Black Panther" soundtrack followed closely by Drake who scored seven nominations.

It looks like the Grammy Awards will be embroiled in drama, yet again.

Logic dictates that when you repeatedly shut out the most qualified artists in the biggest genre in the United States, eventually those artists will stop appearing on your show.

Music's biggest night is nearly here, as the 61st Annual Grammy Awards air live on CBS this Sunday.

Twitter has been abuzz with news of the public disagreement between Ariana Grande and Grammy producers. "It was when my creativity & self expression was stifled by you, that i decided not to attend. i hope the show is exactly what you want it to be and more".

The 61st Annual Grammy Awards telecast will be available to stream live across digital platforms on CBS All Access, the network's streaming site.

The livestream begins at 2 p.m. PT Sunday, Feb. 10 live on Facebook Watch, on the Grammy Awards Facebook page, CBS Facebook page and Grammy.com. The article points out the hip-hop community's lack of representation and acknowledgement in the major song and album categories throughout the years.

Details: Nancy O'Dell, Kevin Frazier, Keltie Knight and Eve host the pre-Grammys red carpet show on CBS.

Singers J Balvin, Ricky Martin, Arturo Sandoval, and Young Thug and Camila Cabello are expected to open the awards night with a special performance.

The 2019 Grammy Awards take place this Sunday, February 10th, and exclusive broadcasting rights for the music awards show in Canada goes to Rogers Media, which will be airing the Grammys on Citytv. Singers Kacey Musgraves and Katy Perry will collaborate to present a tribute to Dolly Parton.

She vowed this year's performances would be the "sickest" yet and feature of-the-moment stars like Lady Gaga and Cardi B as well as icons like country legend Dolly Parton and disco icon Diana Ross, who will take the stage for a Motown tribute.

Additionally, current nominee Dua Lipa will perform with St. Vincent.

Jennifer Lopez will be performing at the Grammys this year. Other performers scheduled for the evening are Cardi B, Brandi Carlile, Dan + Shay, H.E.R., Post Malone, Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monáe, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chloe x Halle, Travis Scott and Miley Cyrus.

The GRAMMYs seem to have an issue with performers this year, yesterday Ariana Grande pulled out of the show due to creative differences.
