To which, Alia said, "I hope she doesn't dislike me and I don't think she dislikes me".

With the film showing so signs of slowing down at the box office, there are speculations that the final collections of the film will beat other female-driven films, thus leaving Kangana with two of the top three spots to her credit.

While Kangana Ranaut is getting shade from a handful of people in Bollywood, the fierce actor just won praises from the flag-bearer of the MeToo movement in India, Tanushree Dutta.

The Manikarnika actress sparked the controversy, which started between her and director Krish, even further, when she called out Aamir Khan and Alia Bhatt for not standing up for her film. "I didn't do anything to get a reaction like this", Alia Bhatt said.

Kangana's response comes after Alia on Thursday said she will apologise to the actor on personal level if she was upset with her for not supporting "Manikarnika". "But they don't have time for any of my trails". Dangal, for me, was a film about women empowerment.

Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut has always been the "Jhansi ki Rani" of Bollywood and doesn't spare anyone who hurts her. "I don't know what they are threatened by". She is brilliant. I applaud her courage and performances.

She continued, "What Bollywood is doing, the planning and plotting, one thing is for sure, earlier I used to call them out for sexism, nepotism or pay disparity, but now I'll be after them". But the success did not come easy to the actress as she had to go through a row of controversies with her team during the filming and then the release of the film. "I told her if she is only focusing on earning bucks and not raise a voice, then her success has no value".

Kangana had recently complained that certain members of the film industry have ganged up against her.
