It is also getting remastered along with Assassin's Creed 3.

Ubisoft has seemingly confirmed (via Nintendo Life) that a Nintendo Switch version of Assassin's Creed III Remastered is in the pipeline.

Details of this game were first revealed in October of past year and now we're getting a better look at the changes that have made their way into the game. Featuring the series' first dip into American history, Assassin's Creed 3 told the stories of father and son, Haytham and Connor Kenway.

If the New Game Plus from Origins is anything to go by, you can expect to carry over your character progression, including player level, abilities, and gear.

One of the key changes coming to the game is an upgrade to 4K resolution with HDR support on Windows PCs, the Xbox One X, and PlayStation 4 Pro. Assassin's Creed III was originally released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the Wii U. The remastered version is for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and presumably the Switch. This is for Assassin's Creed 3 and the spin-off Liberation, which is part of the package.

But if you want to do it all again, but slightly differently, then Ubisoft has announced that a New Game+ mode will be coming to the game at some point this month. Which game from the franchise would you like to see get an overhaul next?
