Red Bull has offered the first glimpse of its 2019 F1 auto, the RB15, in an eye-catching one-off livery.

The team is hopeful a switch to Honda will yield more consistent results.

After a year of Honda experience with Toro Rosso last year and a season with Japanese manufacturer in Super Formula in 2017, Gasly is looking forward to continuing the relationship at the senior Red Bull team.

"I'm very excited to just get started with the engine", Verstappen said.

Daniel Ricciardo's departure to Renault has opened the door for 23-year-old Pierre Gasly to stake his claim as a race victor of the future. "It was a very positive day so very happy about it". "At the moment, I am of course very optimistic, but also realistic and I think time will tell how we are going to perform".

"I want to get the best out of myself, but you have to see what the auto and engine are going to do".

"Until we get to Australia, my goals are a bit blind".

Back in 2015 the team released an abstract black and white design akin to a zebra that was used throughout pre-season testing, only to be dropped in time for first race of the season.

"I've had the chance to have spent two years with Honda already", Gasly said. "I feel energised and I'm ready to attack".

The Milton Keynes-based team, winners of both drivers' and constructors' titles between 2010-13, clinched four victories a year ago, their best single campaign haul of the V6 hybrid turbo-era that began in 2014.

"The buzz really starts at the beginning of the year when you see the auto coming together".

Mercedes have also won the last five constructors' championships but team boss Toto Wolff warned that rule changes could shake things up.

Technical director James Allison said the team had worked hard on the suspension and aerodynamics to deliver a vehicle that would be kinder to its tyres than previous year and remain competitive at every track on the calendar.
