Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Switch Leaked Again

Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Switch Leaked Again

The revamped triple pack - which contains PlayStation classics Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon - launched late 2018 on PS4 and Xbox One where the little purple fella saw immediate success.

Spyro fans had their hopes dashed previous year, with no sign that the developer had even attempted to port its Reignited Trilogy to the Nintendo Switch. Although information on the Switch version of the game has leaked in the past, we haven't heard about it since lasts July.

GameStop has listed the Spyro Reignited Trilogy on the German website and reveals the supposed release date for game, August 16th.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy released to generally favorable reviews, although some fans weren't happy that a download was required to play all of the collection's content.

The Reignited Trilogy seems to be following the same release date path as the Crash Bandicoot N' Sane Trilogy. And since the game has been out since November, many fans had given up on a Switch port of the game.

It wouldn't be a huge surprise if the trilogy made its way to Nintendo's hybrid console. If so, would you still be picking it up for Switch, should it finally come to the console?
