Gmail users around the world unable to send emails

From our observations, it appears that the disruption is affecting users in Malaysia as well but not all users are affected.

There have also been reports of Google Drive being down.

It looks like these services are down for some users globally.

Google was experiencing global outages on Wednesday, with users reporting issues with Gmail, Google Drive and Google Maps. Some say that Gmail and Google Drive is not working for them while others are saying that the services are slow. We'll be updating the post when we learn out more.

On Twitter, many voiced their frustration at being unable to check and send emails. "Message could not be sent".

So far, the United States, Japan, New Zealand, Brazil, Philippines, Indonesia and 54 other countries have reported issues with Gmail.

Drive users will find it hard to upload and download files.

If you're having trouble accessing Google Gmail right now, you're certainly not the only one.

The issues were not isolated to Gmail for some people.

Google has not yet put out an official statement confirming the issue, or commented on how long the outage would last.
