$448 million up for grabs in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing

$448 million up for grabs in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing

The lottery is still looking for its first jackpot victor of 2019 because no one matched all six of the winning numbers drawn Wednesday night.

The Powerball jackpot has soared to almost $500 million.

After no one matched all six numbers in Wednesday's $448 million drawing, the jackpot is growing to an estimated $495 million for Saturday's drawing. That's a cash option of about $271 million.

The winning numbers for Wednesday's drawing were: 18, 36, 45, 47, 69. Two of those tickets were sold in NY and are worth $1 million each. The Power Play multiplier was three. One ticket matched all five white numbers with the optional Power Play and is $2 million.

· In Michigan, one ticket sold won $50,000.

Mike Weirsky, who won $273 million in a drawing last week, initially forgot the jackpot ticket at the QuickChek.

Powerball is held in 44 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. The odds of winning the jackpot with a $2 ticket are 1 in 292,201,338.

The deadline to buy tickets for Saturday night's drawing is 10:00 p.m. EST.
