R. Kelly back in court for child support case

R. Kelly back in court for child support case

An anonymous caller called authorities saying, "four other women, who are victims of R. Kelly are planning to carry out a suicide pact at one of the condos at Trump Tower".

Chicago Police Department officials confirmed to People magazine that they had sent emergency responders to carry out a welfare check at the property, who found the incident to have been a false alarm.

The 52-year-old's lawyer Steve Greenberg was angered by the situation, telling People: "It is offensive that anyone gives this any credibility".

But reports of a suicide pact amongst the women have been echoed before. Martinez stated that was after he married Aaliyah and in the early stages of his alleged predatory behavior. "I didn't see the label stop supporting him".

"She says, 'If you don't allow me to go, I will try to take my own life again, or I will run away, '" King asked.

"I mean my anxiety is constantly through the roof because I hear the parents, I hear there's a plan in place".

When she was 17, Azriel was invited to go on tour with the R&B star - something her parents were hesitant about, but reluctantly said yes to because teen allegedly threatened to kill herself had they refused.

Though the couple said they were always anxious about their daughter, they said they were often assured by several women in Kelly's camp that Azriel was in "good hands". It just breaks my heart. "I'm so angry with him", she added.

On Wednesday Clary's parents sat down with CBS News also echoed that they fear for their daughter's well-being. The Clary's revealed that Azriel struggled with depression and attempted suicide over a previous relationship before she began dating the singer. "So while everybody else may take this lightly.it's real life for us".

On Friday morning, Kelly's girlfriends, Joycelyn Savage and Azriel Clary, spoke with CBS' Gayle King to address the sexual abuse allegations against him.

R. Kelly was freed from Cook County Jail for the second time last week after an anonymous bailer posted $160,000 for his freedom.

Both Azriel Clary and Joycelyn Savage have come forward publicly to defend R. Kelly and deny reports that he is abusive.
