Another Amazon device is getting Apple Music support in the US

Along with the Echo getting this update, Amazon will also be launching this popular music service on its Fire TV devices as well.

What other services would you like to see Apple Music come to?

The news of Apple Music coming to the Echo in the United Kingdom comes months after the service launched in the US. But once it does, it's all Apple Music for you, all the time.

Availability of Apple Music is a fairly big deal, as it was previously only streaming on Apple's pricey HomePod speakers.

"We're thrilled to bring Apple Music - one of the most popular music services in the USA - to Echo customers this holiday". After allowing the Cupertino-based company to bring Apple Music to Echo speakers, Amazon now enables even more of its customers to get a taste of the music streaming service.

Once enabled, voice commands of "Alexa, play Beats 1 on Apple Music" or "Alexa, play my favorites playlist on Apple Music" will get you going. If not, you can simply set it up from the Alexa app, according to CNBC.

Listeners only want to be tied to so many music streaming platforms, each with their own monthly subscriptions, and separate playlists they might have customized for themselves. Have you tested it out on an Alexa device?
