Queen Elizabeth II will create a new Household for Meghan and Harry

Queen Elizabeth II will create a new Household for Meghan and Harry

The public display of affection was intentional, says a Vanity Fair report published Wednesday, as it appears the two are trying to publicly put rumors to rest. "This long-planned move will ensure that permanent support arrangement for the Duke of Duchess's work are in place as they start their family and move to their official residence at Frogmore Cottage".

Reports of the royal households splitting began circulating late a year ago, with commentators explaining that Meghan's entrance into the Royal Family had changed the young royals' working dynamic.

The Duke of Sussex now has his own private office, which has been supporting The Duchess since the engagement of Their Royal Highnesses in November 2017.

Sara was instrumental in Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and her appointment is being heralded as a new chapter for the royal family.

Sara joins from Freuds where she oversaw global corporate accounts with a particular emphasis on executive thought leadership and purpose-led campaigns.

She also has a political background in the United Kingdom having worked for the late Culture Secretary Tessa Jowell in 2005.

They still have to find a new Private Secretary - the most senior role in their office - to replace Samantha Cohen who will leave in the summer.

The couple's Assistant Private Secretary, Amy Pickerill, is also quitting her job after the baby arrives.

The Cambridges' office will remain at Kensington Palace.

Jason Knauf and Christian Jones, who have worked for the couple for the past year, will continue to work exclusively for The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. "Kensington Palace will continue to support Their Royal Highnesses until that team is in place".

Responding to a follower, Arbiter also explains the logic of Harry and Meghan being based at Buckingham Palace rather than Kensington Palace when Charles eventually becomes king.

What does it all mean?

And it shows, as you might expect, that he and Meghan want to forge their own role in the institution and do things their own way.

"The couple is expected to move into Frogmore relatively soon, again so they can be settled before the baby comes", the source shared, adding that Meghan and Harry are "really excited", as are future uncle and aunt, William and Kate.
