The Tennessee Titans headed into the 2019 National Football League free agency with a need for more depth at wide receiver, and went to work on that quickly.

An undrafted free agent who signed with Tampa Bay back in 2015, Humphries is the second Bucs receiver to leave the team on Monday, following the trade of DeSean Jackson to the Philadelphia Eagles. NFL Network first reported the four-year deal with $19 million guaranteed.

Last season, Humphries had 76 catches for 816 yards and five touchdowns, all the most of his career. The 25-year old wideout should play a huge role in the Titans' passing game as a possession receiver in the slot.

The Patriots' receiver corps now consists of Julian Edelman, 2018 sixth-round pick Braxton Berrios and Damoun Patterson, a member of the team's practice squad. Receivers Phillip Dorsett, Chris Hogan and Cordarrelle Patterson are unrestricted free agents. The Titans were apparently in a bidding war with the New England Patriots and in the end, came out on top in the battle to acquire Humphries. Options such as Golden Tate and Cole Beasley are still available, but another top prospect, Jamison Crowder, earlier reached an agreement with the New York Jets.
