Powerball up to $448 Million

Powerball up to $448 Million

The Powerball jackpot will inch closer to half a billion dollars after no one won the $414 million drawing on Saturday. The first lottery ticket was sold in Wisconsin in September 1988.

The jackpot has been climbing since December 26 when a NY man won the $298.3 million grand prize.

While there was no first place victor, someone in Puerto Rico took home a $2 million prize and winners in Nebraska and Texas won $1 million.

Tickets can be purchased until Saturday evening and cost $2 each.

The odds of winning the POWERBALL jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338.

The drawing on Wednesday will be worth $448 million. The jackpot prize will be shared among winners in all POWERBALL states.

They have chosen to remain anonymous. The cash option is estimated at $247.9 million. The white balls will be numbered one through 69 and the Powerball will be one through 26. There is a list of TV stations that have the broadcast of the drawing on the Powerball website and that list of stations is available here.

The drawings are broadcast on live television as well.
