Hazard staying focused on Chelsea amid continued Real Madrid speculation

Chelsea FC know that they could risk losing Hazard for nothing next summer if they force him to stay and he doesn't sign a new contract.

Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has said that "world class" players Paul Pogba and Eden Hazard would be welcomed by the Bernabeu dressing room.

Many Manchester United stars could push to leave the club this summer as they face pay cuts of up to 25% if they fail to qualify for next season's Champions League.

"I'm just focused on Chelsea", Hazard told ESPN.

Chelsea have reportedly set a price of £100 million for the forward, although manager Maurizio Sarri said following Hazard's sensational performance against West Ham United on Monday that £100m would be "too cheap" for the 28-year-old.

As a result, a massive release clause has been triggered on the contract, with United one of the major players said to be interested in the deal.

Belgium worldwide Hazard will only have a year remaining on his contract at the end of 2018-19, but Chelsea may not be able to replace him due to a two-window transfer ban, against which the club have appealed.

"You'd have to ask him if he wants to come".

Manchester United haven't yet ended their pursuit for Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld.

"Results haven't always been great, [there has been] a lot of criticism of the style of play", he added.

The outlet says that Pogba and Mané are on the second list due to the fact that an outlay of more than €250 million would be needed to land the Premier League pair.

"Two years in a row not playing Champions League [football] is hard for the players but also for the club", Hazard said.

"We should not talk about Marcelo's season, as we have all failed collectively".
