Xiaomi Redmi Go Is Coming To Malaysia For RM 299

Xiaomi's response was brutal, to say the least.

It's understandable why some industry watchers may have concluded that the Snapdragon 855-powered Redmi flagship will have a pop-up camera particularly given the flagship's alleged full-screen approach, but if the front-facing sensor is not motorized as initially suspected then the question remains: how will the device handle selfies?

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will go on sale for the first time today.

Keeping in mind Xiaomi's trend to launch good selfie camera mobile phones under its Y series of smartphones, this post could be hinting at the Y3 smartphone. This could be launched as the Redmi Y3, taking over from the Redmi Y2 that was launched previous year. With this in-trend feature, the phone will join the likes of Vivo V15, Vivo 15 Pro, Huawei P30 Pro, and P30 Lite that are already available in India. Now as per reports, Redmi might be planning to launch a new Redmi smartphone with a 32-megapixel selfie camera. It also comes in a 4GB RAM/64GB variant priced at ₹11,999.

Celebrating this special occasion, Raghu Reddy, Head of Category and Online Sales, Xiaomi India said, "We are delighted to be sharing yet another wonderful milestone achieved by our popular Redmi Note series of smartphones". All four smartphones offer Samsung's GD1 sensor. There is a good chance that this new handset could be the new Redmi Y3.

The Redmi Y3 rumours have been around for a while now.

Hence, considering that the Redmi Y2 was backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, we can expect to see Snapdragon 660 on the upcoming Redmi Y3.
