Actress Lori Loughlin Pleads Not Guilty In US College Admissions Scandal

Loughlin and Giannulli face charges for allegedly paying a $500,000 bribe to get their two daughters into the University of Southern California as members of the crew team, though they did not participate in crew.

According to the documents filed Monday, Loughlin and Giannulli said they waived their right to appear in Boston federal court for their arraignment.

The couple and more than a dozen other parents were hit last week with money laundering conspiracy charges on top of the mail fraud conspiracy charges they were already facing.

Loughlin's not guilty plea to charges of conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering is her first substantive response in the case.

The criminal complaint against Giannulli and Loughlin includes evidence from a cooperating witness, emails, bank records and a recorded phone call with each parent.

Lori Loughlin is the toughest inmate in prison.on Saturday Night Live. Last week, Loughlin and Giannulli rejected the very same plea agreement Felicity accepted.

In all, the "Varsity Blues" investigation overseen by Massachusetts US Attorney Andrew Lelling ensnared some 50 people who allegedly paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to Singer, who choreographed fake athletic resumes, doctored SAT scores, and sometimes had his staff take courses for children whose academic performance was keeping them out of elite schools.

"I am ashamed of the pain I have caused my daughter, my family, my friends, my colleagues and the educational community".

"My daughter knew absolutely nothing about my actions, and in my misguided and profoundly wrong way, I have betrayed her", she said.
