Other features coming with iOS 13 are said to include a new undo gesture for text input on iPad. Apple is also likely to improve the "Hey Siri" rejection on iOS 13 to avoid accidental wake up instances for its voice assistant.

Apple's developer conference - WWDC 2019 is scheduled to be held on June 3rd-7th at San Jose, California.

The publication claims people familiar with the development of iOS 13 have shared some details about the new features, which are said to include Dark Mode as previously rumoured. The only way to enable dark mode in Messenger was to send a crescent moon emoji in any chat, an Easter Egg activation available on both Android and iOS platforms.

We already heard the implementation of a system-wide Dark Mode for iOS devices that would be similar to what arrived on Mac machines through macOS 10.14 Mojave past year. The report suggests that the system-wide dark mode can be enabled through settings and it will most likely be similar to what we have seen on the earlier released dark mode for MacOS at the last year's WWDC event.

In addition to that, the report also suggests that iOS 13 may come with features like new multiwindow support for apps for iPad. Each window will contain sheets attached to a portion of the screen, but which can be detached by dragging them and then moved to a different part of the screen. These cards can be flung away to be dismissed. Currently, iPhone and iPad users have to physically shake their device to undo.

Apple is finally improving the Volume HUD in iOS 13. With a three-finger swipe on the keyboard, users can swipe left or right to undo or redo an action. This will help users differentiate between multiple Split View windows. Developers will also get a new standard font picker component, and users will be notified each time when they open a document that doesn't have available fonts.

The Mail app will organize messages into categories such as marketing, purchases, travel, and "not important", with all of these being searchable. Similarly, there will be the ability to add messages to a "read later" queue. Apple is also said to be bringing improved multitasking and a lot more besides.

Multi-select gesture. A new system-wide gesture will let users multi-select items in table and collection views.
