‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 Release Date Revealed

On the heels of yesterday's order of Genndy Tartakovsky's bloody new animated series Primal, Adult Swim has revealed the Season 4 release date of mega-hit show Rick and Morty.

Season 4 of Rick and Morty will kick off in November on Adult Swim. So this order was huge; it will more than double the show's previous episode total (and bring it up to 100 episodes, historically the magic number needed for endless syndication runs). Since then: bupkis, although a new deal between the creators of the show, Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, and Adult Swim was announced last summer. Though they sound a little unsure about which year it actually is, currently.

The news was announced this morning by WarnerMedia during a presentation in NY (via Variety), though at this time there's no precise day of release. [Dan] Harmon is in great spirits, we have a great writer's room.

"We're not going to do these long breaks, these chasms in between seasons anymore". "Brand new Season 4 in November 2019, this year".

The new series will air on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, and if that's not good enough news for fans of the cult cartoon, the first three seasons are already on E4 - the flawless chance to refresh yourself before the next lot air.

Rick and Morty follows a sociopathic genius scientist who drags his inherently timid grandson on insanely risky adventures across the universe. Rick and Morty also has become a multi-platform sensation not just on television, but across digital, gaming, livestreaming, retail, and fan experiences.
