OnePlus 7 gets OxygenOS 9.5.5 update with camera improvements

The Chinese smartphone mammoth recently launched its 7th generation of smartphones dubbed OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 pro. As we mentioned in our review of the OnePlus 7 that the company has a rather brilliant track record for releasing regular OTA updates and that the cameras on the phone need more optimization.

The firmware for the OnePlus 7 released last week was OxygenOS 9.5.4; the latest update carries a firmware build OxygenOS 9.5.5.GM57AA. The brand new OnePlus 7 is also getting the May 2019 security patch update with the latest OxygenOS 9.5.5. The update is smaller in size and weighs just 125MB in size. The images using nightscape effect will now have more clarity and better color.

Though it's not yet available everywhere, you can still try downloading it Manually. There is an improvement in colour and contrast in the OnePlus 7 camera. The latest one brings the May 2019 Android security patch. During the manufacturing process, the rear glass panel of the OnePlus 7 Pro is repeatedly polished to ensure a smooth touch. All things considered, it's hard to beat the OnePlus 7 Pro's value for the money, regardless of whether it's more costly than earlier OnePlus devices. This update also claimed to bring improvements to the camera, tweaks for smooth scrolling, and an optimised algorithm for in-display fingerprint unlock sensor, apart from "general bug fixes and improvements".

What Do We Think Of the OnePlus 7? That's the only configuration you can get by the way, so don't ask about a 12GB RAM option.

The handset features high end cameras on the front and back, on the front there is a pop up selfie camera with a 16 megapixel camera.
