IPhone XR successor might boast even bigger battery

That means the iPhone XR's successor will have slightly less capacity than the iPhone XS Max's 3,174 mAh battery, but the XR consumes less power.

According to sources familiar with the matter, Contemporary Amperex Technology has begun mass-producing the 2019 iPhone XR2's updated battery.

5% doesn't seem like much; but truthfully, we'll take a battery life improvement wherever we can get it.

With increased capacity and a next-gen A13 chip, the iPhone 11R should, in theory, have the best battery life of any iPhone to date. Apple might be using more generic visuals to convey the message that you need to connect the iPhone to a MacBook.

Coupled with the new pack and the frugal display resolution, the iPhone XR (2019) should therefore last longer on a charge than the already best in that regard iPhone XR. The new move might also be the reason because when it comes to draining of the battery, Apple iPhone is at the top. GSM Arena noted that the iPhone XR is capable of playing videos for 15 hours straight before it needed plugging in. In case you did not know, the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XS feature two batteries integrated into an L-shaped unit. While this amount doesn't sound like a huge increase, worth noting that iPhone XR was able to outperform its siblings in terms of battery life. It is being predicted that there won't be many changes made in the overall design of the phone except to allow for the housing of the dual camera setup in the rear. The batteries for the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Max have yet to enter production, but perhaps we can expect a similar jump in capacity.
