When The Lion King hits theaters next week, fans will be treated to new takes on some classic Disney hits.

Also, on the red carpet, ET chatted with Beyonce's former Destiny's Child member, Michelle Williams, and she gushed over her close pal's opportunity to become a part of the beloved story. She also co-wrote the song. She has been teasing some artwork on her Instagram for the past two weeks, and now she brought some even more exciting news to the forefront. "This is a new experience of storytelling". I wanted to do more than find a collection of songs that were inspired by the film. "Authenticity and heart were important to me".

"Beyoncé Never Does Things By Halves", wrote @anibundel.

Director Jon Favreau's all-new "The Lion King" journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born.

The tune comes at a pivotal moment for Nala, the character voiced by Beyoncé, in the film that comes out July 18.

"The Lion King: "The Gift, an album featuring global artists and steeped in the sounds of Africa, produced and curated by Beyonce Knowles-Carter, will release 7/19", tweeted the account on Tuesday (July 9) afternoon".

Disney's new Lion King opens in theatres on July 19 in the United States, but one of the first screenings was tonight in Hollywood.
