Taylor Swift tops Forbes list of highest-earning celebs

Taylor Swift tops Forbes list of highest-earning celebs

Several of Jenner's famous family members made the list, too-including Kanye West, who secured the no. 3 spot with a 2019 estimated net work of $240 million, and Kim Kardashian, who landed the 26th spot with reported earnings of $72 million this year.

Forbes released its list of the top 100 highest-paid entertainers on Wednesday, and 10-time Grammy victor Taylor Swift snagged the top slot.

A lot of that money comes from her Reputation Stadium World Tour, which wrapped up previous year and brought in $345 million internationally into the Swift camp.

The TOP 10 also included the footballer Lionel Messi, British singer ed Sheeran, Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, Brazilian player Neymar, the rock group The Eagles, American psychologist and television host Phil McGraw and boxer Saul Alvarez, known as Canelo. Talk about power couples. He earned $110 million. West is ranked third, with $150 million, most coming from his Yeezy sneaker line with Adidas. Swift is set to release her seventh studio album, Lover, on August 23.

"The number of Indian actors on Forbes" annual 100 celebrities list has shrunk to just one - Shah Rukh Khan dropped off the list last year and Salman Khan this year leaving Akshay Kumar as the sole survivor.

Whatever bad blood Taylor Swift may have with former associates, her credit is certainly good.

The singer previously topped the list in 2016 with $170 million. Forbes reports Yeezy made an estimated US$1 billion in sales a year ago alone.

The celebrated boxer, Floyd Mayweather and the actor, George Clooney, secured the top two positions a year ago but couldn't even make it to the top 10 this time.

According to News18, Forbes said that as Bollywood's top earning star Akshay, "pulls in at least $5 million and up to $10 million per film".
