United States woman gets marijuana birthday cake instead of Moana cake

Tammy Davis asked the Atlanta, Georgia, bakery staff to decorate a birthday cake with her 25-year-old daughter's favourite Disney princess, Moana. The cake had "marijuana" written on it with green coloured icing.

At least it was not a birthday cake with marijuana in it, which sent a family to a hospital in Australia last February.

Luckily, Kensli and her guests found the mix-up absolutely hilarious and shared a picture of the drug-themed dessert after the party.

The baker reportedly misheard the mother and decorated Kensli's cake with a cannabis leaf and a "My Little Pony" character that appeared to be stoned and smoking a joint.

Kensli Davis absolutely loves Moana, so her mother ordered an ice cream cake for her birthday, featuring the Disney character.

Kensli's post has been shared 11,000 times - with social media users finding the mix-up as amusing as she did.

Posting pictures of the cake on Facebook, Kensli wrote, "I haven't had a chance to tell y'all about our experience this weekend with my birthday cake".

"These people thought she said marijuana", Ms Davis wrote.

She shared a photo of the cake on Facebook - one half is of My Little Pony and the other is a cannabis leaf.

"That ice cream cake was still good though", Ms Davis said. "I just need to know where she ordered it cause I want this", they wrote.
