Inter confirm Man United meeting for Lukaku

Sky Sports News reporter Solhekol has now confirmed that Manchester United are still working on a potential deal for the England worldwide.

Although Lukaku has had some bright moments at United - particularly his brace against Paris Saint-Germain in their historic Champions League comeback - the overall consensus among fans is that he has been a disappointment.

The club most interested in Lukaku appears to be Inter Milan with it being reported they have made an official approach for the striker.

"We'll see what happens".

To make matters worse - in my eyes - Los Blancos will likely have to sacrifice at least two big name players like Isco or Gareth Bale, to even consider being able to sign Pogba.

"We want to satisfy his request within certain financial parameters".

Inter may still have some work on their hands though, since United are not in any rush to sell and the Nerazzurri have to consider potential Financial Fair Play repercussions if they were to break the bank on the Belgium global.

Furthermore, the Italian side will have to consider potential Financial Fair Play repercussions if they were to break the bank on the Belgium worldwide, as Manchester United are said to be unwilling to take back a player as a makeweight.

New Inter boss Antonio Conte had tried to sign Lukaku while at Chelsea in 2017 but the striker opted to move to Old Trafford.

The Belgium global arrived at Old Trafford for £75million from Everton having just narrowly lost out on the Premier League golden boot to Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane after finishing the campaign with 25 goals.

After a dismal 2018-19 season, the United players have a lot to prove and some will have to impress right from the get-go to get an opportunity in the first team once the season kicks off.
