Bayern Munich sign Ivan Perisic on loan from Inter Milan

German giants Bayern Munich have confirmed the arrival of Croatia global Ivan Perisic from Italian side Inter Milan.

"He is technically gifted and flexible in attack".

The report also goes on to state that Spanish side Sevilla made a last ditch attempt to try and sign Perisic but it is understood that Bayern's manager being Croatian Niko Kovac is what convinced Perisic to chose the Allianz Arena club. The 82-time capped Croatian holds vast experience of the Bundesliga, having played six seasons in Germany with Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg respectively.

"I'm very glad to be back in Germany", he said.

As for Bayern, the Bavarians have been looking for replacements for Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, and might just have found one in the form of the 30-year-old Perisic.

Perisic's current contract at Inter runs until 2022, but he was reportedly set to play less of a role under new coach Antonio Conte.

While the Nerazzurri have no position for Perisic within their ranks, Bundesliga champions Bayern are happy to open their doors.

Bayern launch their Bundesliga season at home to Hertha Berlin on Friday.
