CNN Supports Anchor Chris Cuomo After Altercation Captured on Video

The CNN anchor was caught on video flying into an abject rage at a man for calling him "Fredo" - an apparent insult referencing Fredo Corleone, the weak, dopey brother in "The Godfather".

Warning: This story contains a video with explicit language.

Moments later, Trump Jr. tweeted out a video that showed CNN's Ana Navarro calling him (Trump Jr.) "Fredo" on Cuomo's CNN show and Cuomo not saying anything about it, even though he claims that it's "like the n-word".

Get your jokes in now before everyone else has already made them.

"Any of you Italian?"

"What are you gonna do about it?" the man asks. Don't f--ing insult me like that.

"If you want to play then we'll f**king play", Cuomo says.

CNN is defending anchorman Chris Cuomo over a video of a confrontation in which Mr. Cuomo goes into a profane tirade and threatens to attack a person who got his name wrong. "You call me "Fredo" it's like I call you punk b-ch, you like that?"

The video's description on YouTube says a "fan of news went to ask Chris Cuomo for a photo, mind you the man who asked him DID NOT know his real name and knows of him only through The RUSH LIMBUAGH SHOW and on that show Rush repeatedly calls him "FREDO" so the man legitimately thought his name was FREDO".

The footage starts with an agitated Cuomo erupting into an expletive-ridden rant while accusing the man of hurling an ethnic slur at him.

In the 107 seconds of the video, Mr. Cuomo uses forms of the f-word 24 times and uses the s-word meaning "excrement" five times. "You called me Fredo, like I call you 'punk b*ch", Cuomo says, insisting that the man had deliberately insulted him, despite the former's protesting that he genuinely believed Cuomo's name was 'Fredo'.

On Monday night, CNN also said it stood by the host.

Fox News' Sean Hannity defended Cuomo in a tweet. However, Cuomo threatened significant violence in response to nothing more than a dumb personal insult while hijacking the N-word to wrap himself in victimhood, not to mention hijack Italians of American descent at the same time. The statement was posted as a reply to a Donald Trump Jr. tweet questioning whether CNN would comment on the incident. "He deserves the apology".
