Florida man parks Smart auto in kitchen to protect against Hurricane Dorian

Jessica's Facebook post pokes fun at her husband's antics, stating that he parked the auto in the house to avoid it blowing away.

Since her auto was in the garage, Eldridge made a decision to park the small vehicle in the family's kitchen. But to secure other things in the garage, her husband proposed to park the vehicle in the house. "I don't know - I'm just waiting for something insane to happen, I guess", said Johnson, 24. He opened the double doors and drove it inside, where he knew it wouldn't be blown away by the strong winds brought about by Dorian, which was heading for the state as a Category 2 storm.

His spouse, Jessica, posted a sequence of photographs of the tiny black automobile that was parked completely within the room.

The post has been shared more than 64,000 times since it was posted on Tuesday. "OMG so cute", commented another. Earlier in the week as a Category 5, it devastated the Bahamas, where rescue crews have only begun taking the full measure of the damage. It missed the Eldridges' hometown of Jacksonville by miles and is now headed towards the Georgia, South and North Carolina coastlines.
