John Steigerwald: Antonio Brown looks insane like a fox

Indeed, Pittsburgh's opener was drama-free, as the Steelers were never in a game that was over shortly after it started, losing by 30 points to the New England Patriots on Sunday Night Football. The Raiders needed a player to fill the spot of Antonio Brown.

That debut, however, will have to wait.

The Associated Press reports that Tobias Gray, a New York Giants fan, made a now-deleted post on Facebook after the team signed free agent Antonio Brown.

Even more important for the Eagles, that Week 11 matchup in the middle of November against the Patriots just became a lot more interesting since Brown's presence will force Philadelphia to take a completely different approach. The two sides have simply agreed to terms on a deal that will likely be finalized on Monday.

Hours later, Brown found a new home with the Patriots. "Ain't no more games". That allowed the team to void the guarantees in Brown's contract, and basically turn him into a week-to-week player when it comes to his contract.

"I wasn't good enough", Roethlisberger said. "It's like, do you guys want me to be Raider?" he said. Before Brown could ruin Oakland's 2019 season, Mayock drew his personal line in the sand and said if Brown was going to play in Oakland he'd have to accept proper discipline. Brown said he does and the question is if the Raiders want him.

Rice is not buying Brown's social media antics and attitude that led to his quick release from the Raiders on Saturday before the six-time Pro Bowler had played a single snap in the silver and black. He and Belichick worked together in both Cleveland and New England. I'm into work. He's into work and our entire offense is into doing what's in the best interest of the team. But we're going to go out there and play regardless.

The Raiders acquired Brown after he wore out his welcome in Pittsburgh. "I think that quarterback/receiver relationship is so important; the more you know each other the more you know what each other's thinking, the faster you can accelerate the trust and confidence in one another when you get on the field".

There isn't much about the short-lived Antonio Brown-Oakland Raiders marriage that isn't odd and in some ways unprecedented in the NFL.

Baltimore is a playoff team from last season.
