IPhone 11's Camera Butt Is Primed For Le Memes

IPhone 11's Camera Butt Is Primed For Le Memes

Apple on Tuesday played to its strengths with powerful new iPhone and iPad models able to serve as stages for its new game and television services. Apple has made Face ID better and fitted the notch with a better selfie (slowfie?) camera since then, but it remains one of the biggest display cutouts around. Apple's higher-end Pro and Pro Max handsets have triple-camera rigs, adding a third 12MP snapper - all 3 are 4K 60FPS capable. Apple TV+'s low price point is obviously meant to compete with Disney+, which will cost $6.99 per month and launches november 12.

Apple's lower price point is also trying to win out over HBO Max, set to launch next year.

There's also a new selfie camera.

By having two or three cameras - all on the back with another on the front - Apple highlights that you can take all kinds of pictures without having to physically move.

The iPhone 11 Pro starts at $999 and the iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at $1,099.

While the pro and pro max phones are geared toward high-end buyers, the comparably cheap iPhone 11 could go some way toward converting customers who have postponed purchasing a new phone for the past year or two. This had been rumoured to be dropped at the last minute before the unveiling as Apple couldn't get it to work as expected, so it's no-show came a bit of blow. It's less expensive than Disney's upcoming streaming offering, Disney+, which will cost $6.99 monthly or $70 a year, and Netflix's basic plan, which costs $8.99 a month.

Apple is shifting some of its focus toward games with a new subscription service called Apple Arcade.

What shows will Apple TV+ have? Series slated for Apple TV+ include a drama about a broadcast morning show starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon. It's hard to say whether or not that will make Apple's implementation better or worse without giving it a try, so I'll reserve judgment until I get to see it in action. He added however that adding more content to its library will be key to the success of the service in India.

"That's why you're seeing the hammering in some of the other video service-related names like Netflix, Amazon and Roku".

There's also worldwide emergency calling which lets you call emergency services directly from the Apple Watch in over 150 countries without an iPhone nearby. "Clearly, that was a positive that people were happy to hear".

Analysts expect Apple to sell about 200 million iPhones in the next year (in addition to other devices), ensuring tens of millions of potential viewers for the subscription service.

Could Apple Arcade pave the way for Amazon-style bundles? At launch, most Apple TV+ series will premiere with three episodes, with one new episode to roll out each week, while full seasons of some series will be available all at once. The two new Pro iPhones remain easy to hold, manage and don't run the risk of slipping out of your hands. The new purple is more of a lavender, nearly like a less metallic version of what Samsung did with last year's Note 9.

However, unlike Apple TV+, Disney Plus has not yet released a United Kingdom launch date and is expected at some point in 2020. "They know once consumers get into their ecosystem, they don't leave".
