Meghan Markle's workwear fashion collection: this is what recruiters really think

But when it came to the topic of Meghan's new charity project, which is aimed at raising funds and awareness for Smart Works, a charity that helps unemployed women to find professional clothing for job interviews, Misha was incredibly open.

The line includes professional attire such as a blazer, pants and tote bag.

Introducing the new Smart Works collection, #TheSmartSet Over the previous year, The Duchess of Sussex and @SmartWorksCharity have come together to launch a very special initiative.

I've spent an afternoon listening in on the conversations Meghan has enjoyed with dressing volunteers, interview coaches, patrons and clients at Smart Works, the charity which has helped more than 15,000 British women back into employment via a two-pronged approach of personal styling and interview training.

Meghan said: "As women, it is 100 per cent our responsibility, I think, to support and uplift each other". Several of Diana's diamond were included in Meghan's engagement ring, and the Duchess of Sussex was spotted wearing the late Princess of Wales's aquamarine ring while leaving her wedding reception with Harry on May 19, 2018.

Russell said: "They will donate something to Smart Works to be given to one of these ladies to go and get a job, feeling confident and feeling inspired".

Meghan and Harry, who welcomed baby Archie in May, also adorably excused herself towards the end of the event citing it was her son's feeding time.

To date, Smart Works has depended on donations from individuals and brands.

"Since moving to the United Kingdom, it has been deeply important to me to meet with communities and organisations on the ground doing meaningful work and to try to do whatever I can to help them amplify their impact", Meghan, 38, said in a statement.

Of working together for the charity, she shared that Meghan isn't a micromanager and trusts those she's collaborating with. Within that time, the Duchess of Sussex has been on maternity leave enjoying precious moments with her newborn.

A spokesperson for the duchess said she had been very much involved in the design process.

She added: "She was completely hands-on and got stuck in and some of the women didn't know who she was".

"A lot of people got to know [Meghan after she started dating Harry], but I knew her before and she's the same chick", Chopra Jonas told The Sunday Times earlier this year. "And that shows the kind of person that she is".
