City Girls’ JT Released From Prison, Shares

JT is one-half of the Florida rap duo alongside Yung Miami. Since then Yung Miami has been holding it down on the records and videos.

The hip-hop star was jailed past year for charges relating to credit card fraud, and was initially expected to remain behind bars until 2020. On the cover art, the newly-free JT can be seen rocking an icy chain and writing out her verses, clearly focused on getting back into the booth and continuing her upward trajectory. She posted artwork for a forthcoming single aptly titled "JT First Day Out" with the caption "You b*tches in trouble!" According to her entry on the federal government's inmate locator, her release date is set for March 21, 2020.

While it'll take time to adjust to her newfound celebrity, at least one person is ecstatic to have her home: Yung Miami. Pierre "Pee" Thomas, CEO of The Metropolis Women' label (High quality Management Music), revealed that JT can be house "within the next 90 days" whereas talking to 99Jamz on the 2019 BET Awards on June 23.


"JT coming home this month", said Miami.
