Google could launch its first 5G Pixel smartphone next week

Following the event, a report surfaced that stated Google is not satisfied with WearOS, therefore, the launch of the alleged Pixel Watch did not take place. TechRadar will be on the ground at the event to test out all the new products, including the Watch (if it exists) so check back then to see if the anticipated smartwatch is present. It also looks like it's had some amateurish Photoshop work done, which slightly discredits it. Even still, Google would beat Apple to market with a 5G phone.

The announcement of a 5G Pixel next week would mark the first device from an American company to support the new wireless standard. The smartphone is, undoubtedly, the "most leaked smartphone of 2019" so far.

With Google looking to make the Pixel 4 series strong competitors to the Apple iPhone and Samsung's Galaxy S and Note lines in the states, this would seem to be a very good time to launch a Pixel Watch. According to The Verge's report, Google could launch the 5G Pixel 4 model later next year during Spring alongside the Pixel 3a successor.

Pixel 4 5G could sport a Snapdragon 855+ SoC with 5G modem chipset.

Google Pixel 4 is set to get significant design and internal upgrades.

Google's Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL smartphones will finally go official at the company's "Made by Google' hardware event next week".

Google have said that they are trying to look to the future with their hardware in an attempt to bring their software to more people in the best and fastest way possible. The new Google Camera 7.1 APK has now been revealed showing off a couple of new features in the upcoming Pixel 4's camera.
