Harry and Ed Sheeran filming together ahead of World Mental Health Day

The project seems to be a collaboration in aid of World Mental Health Awareness Day.

A rather confused-looking Prince Harry says 'slightly awkward, ' before explaining: 'This may be miscommunication but this is about World Mental Health Day'.

It's not clear what the pair have planned, but a caption on the video hints: "Coming soon." and adds the World Mental Health Day hashtag.

And so it's natural the Duke of Sussex and Ed Sheeran should share a certain kinship - as they appeared to in a charity video released on Wednesday.

William, Kate, Harry and Meghan rejoined forces to narrate a three-minute film for the National Health Service (NHS), encouraging Brits to look after their mental health.

The video starts with Sheeran having a beard trim before he rings Prince Harry's doorbell, which chimes to the tune of God Save The Queen. "We're all in this together".

"Hey mate, nice to see you", Harry responds.

Prince Harry, of course, was talking about the importance of opening the discussion on mental health, but realised Ed wasn't when he said, "With the jokes and the snide comments, I just feel like it's time that we stood up and said, you know, we're not going to take this anymore". All over the country, millions of us face challenges to our mental health - at all ages - at all intensities, and for all sorts of reasons.

The singer shakes the duke's hand and replies: "Hey mate".

As the video draws to an end, the father-of-one, who can be sitting on a sofa with Ed, says: 'Guys, this Mental Health Day, reach out, make sure your friends, strangers - lookout for anyone who may suffer in silence.

Others thought that the property featured in the video was the Sussexes' Frogmore Cottage home, but according to a report in Hello! magazine, it's Princess Eugenie's Kensington Palace cottage.
