Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 Latest Patent Shows S Pen Support

For the sake of clarity, the Galaxy S10 family will include the Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, and S10e. The source claims that "MecaTech Systems" will start supplying Samsung with test sockets for the next Galaxy phone's folded camera.

We haven't heard about any other regions, but you can expect the beta to expand to other regions.

Samsung hasn't confirmed an official release date for the Galaxy S10 Android 10 beta, but we should get a date in the near future. Samsung has said this is an inherent characteristic of its foldable phone design and offers a $149.99 (R2290) screen replacement within the first year. The Galaxy Note 10 wasn't mentioned just yet but you can expect it to be added later on since previous year, the Galaxy Note 9 was included in the initial list of the beta rollout. Owners of unlocked Galaxy S10 models will also be able take part in the Android 10 beta. The Galaxy S11 will probably be made of metal and glass and will be shipped with Android 10.

If you wish to participate in the beta, you'll need to download the Samsung Members app, known as Samsung+ in North America.

Samsung has been prolific with October security updates.

If you have a Samsung Account and meet all of Samsung's participation criteria, the registration process will complete. It also means that you'll get to use Samsung's One UI 2.0 update with Android 10 before the general public, though, which can be pretty exciting.

The Korean giant is testing the latest version of Android with firmware number N 960 FXXU3DSJ3, which is based on one UI 2.0.

Of note is the addition of three models to the list of devices being promised monthly updates: Galaxy Fold, Galaxy A50, and Galaxy Xcover 4s, the last being surprisingly upgraded from quarterly updates, Android police reported on Tuesday.
