NBC News Reporter's Son Adorably Interrupts Mom's Live Broadcast

"Excuse me, my kids are here... live television", she said as NBC cut to a map of Syria and Turkey.

The video is now going viral, showing Courtney reporting on Turkish military's offensive in northern Syria when suddenly, her son appears on the air.

One of the journalists identified this week as an alleged recipient of a classified leak from a Defense Intelligence Agency worker had an adorable on-air moment that same day - as her 4-year-old son wandered onto the set during a live broadcast.

News correspondent Courtney Kube was on MSNBC Wednesday morning to report on Turkish airstrikes in Syria. As Kube addressed the situation, her son came up behind her and started reaching up to her while she was speaking. Ms Kube said, smiling during the segment.

"Sometimes unexpected breaking news happens while you're reporting breaking news", wrote MSNBC, adding the hashtag #workingmoms.

The clip has since been "liked" more than 49,000 times on Twitter.

Courtney Kube - it may not surprise - scored kudos from all corners of the internet for her poise as a working mother.

"Best part of the programming so far this morning". "That's a mom with her priorities straight".
