Vardy’s wife receives death threats after Coleen Rooney’s leak allegations

The pregnant mum broke her silence on Friday (Australian time) over what really happened in a phone call she made to Coleen, after the wife of Wayne Rooney attempted to out her in an explosive rant that revealed how she had hatched an intricate plot to find out who was leaking her private social media posts.

A source close to Vardy, 37, told The Sun: 'She is prepared to see Coleen in court if necessary'. She also says that she "was on a plane to Dubai" when the story about Coleen's basement flooding was published.

Rebekah said she called Coleen to demand whatever proof she had.

"She spent months compiling this and knows she isn't wrong about the account which saw the stories", an insider said of Rooney's social media investigation.

For those who haven't been keeping up with the drama, a quick recap: Earlier this week, Rooney tweeted a screenshot accusing Vardy of regularly selling information from Rooney's personal Instagram with the British tabloid the Sun over the course of several years.

Rebekah insisted: "I never speak to anyone about you as various journalists have asked me to over the years can vouch for". "I have been so upset by it - and I'm heavily pregnant too". 'I wasn't going to say anything but it has gone so extreme, ' she added. Fittingly enough, she was at a press junket for her new film Official Secrets, in which she stars as a whistleblower who leaks a key email to the press, thereby exposing the U.S. and U.K. governments' apparent plans to sway the United Nations into supporting an invasion of Iraq.

"She's said "it's Rebekah's account".

"Coleen has had enough of Rebekah's outbursts", a source told The Sun. "Rebekah has only ever had praise for Colleen - I'm just stunned", he told the Daily Mail. "She's completely devastated by the whole thing". As for how she came to that conclusion, well, it took almost half a year's worth of scheming: "Over the past five months, I have posted a series of false stories to see if they made their way into the Sun newspaper", she wrote in a statement explaining her process of elimination on Twitter.

They added: 'Rebekah has been incredibly stressed and hasn't stopped sobbing all day, which is very out of character for her.

Coleen, 33, made headlines in the paper again on September 28 when the publication claimed Rooney was in talks to join Strictly next year to revive her TV career when Wayne returns to the UK.

She then triumphantly unveiled her sting with a dramatic message that concluded "It's".

Rooney's sleuthing skills led to her being dubbed "Wagatha Christie" on social media. I'm disgusted that I'm even having to deny this.

Vardy has indicated that an expert is looking into where the leaks came from.
