Harry Dunn, 19, died when suspect Mrs Sacoolas's vehicle crashed into his motorbike outside RAF Croughton in Northamptonshire in August, allegedly after pulling out on the wrong side of the road.

Harry Dunn, 19, died after a auto driven by Sacoolas crashed into his motorbike near RAF Croughton, an air force base in Northamptonshire in central England used by the USA military.

"She needs to do the right thing", Charles said while fighting back tears during a press conference in NY on Monday, adding: "Face us as a broken family".

Sacoolas left Britain under a claim of diplomatic immunity that has become a point of contention between the two countries.

If that occurs, the family indicated, it would be willing to speak with her there.

A statement previously released on Sacoolas' behalf said she spoke with authorities at the scene of the accident and again the following day and would continue to cooperate with them.

"Having said that, as it's almost seven weeks now since we lost our boy, sorry just doesn't cut it".

"I called out to him and said, 'Harry, it's your dad".

It comes after the UK Foreign Office said at the weekend that the 43-year-old did not have diplomatic immunity since she had returned home.

"It's a condition for us", he said.

Radd Seiger, a spokesperson for the Dunn family, joins Charlotte Charles, centre left, and Tim Dunn, centre right, parents of Harry Dunn, at a news conference in NY.

Mr Raab added that the matter was now "in the hands" of Northamptonshire Police and the CPS.

It said: "Anne is devastated by this tragic accident".

"She needs to just do the right thing and just come back and face what she's done", said Charles, her voice breaking with emotion.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has urged Sacoolas to return to the United Kingdom and that he doesn't think it's right to "use the process of diplomatic immunity for this type of goal". The U.K. says she has lost diplomatic immunity.
