Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker final trailer revealed

This is it. The final trailer of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker arrived today, bringing every emotion you have ever felt to the forefront.

It begins by invoking images of Luke Skywalker and Yoda training in "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi", but Rey (Ridley), looking determined, looks to be alone in a forest-like setting.

If you're anything like me, you'll likely have the much-hyped and generously lengthy trailer on repeat for the next few days, but essentially it's roughly two-and-a-half minutes of unrestrained hype. Many voices narrate the trailer, including the voice of a familiar Sith Lord who ominiously mutters: "Your coming together will be your undoing".

Her nemesis, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), interjects with, "But I do". This comes roughly six months after the first teaser landed back in April.

"People Keep telling me they know me", Ridely says in the trailer. With Han Solo and Luke Skywalker gone, and Carrie Fisher sadly passed, this really is a huge moment for the Star Wars franchise. However, there were no additional signs of Dark Rey (Daisy Ridley), who was teased during the Star Wars portion of D23 this summer.

Tonight, hundreds of thousands of small one-man fighters should be able to penetrate local theater box office outer defenses - and secure tickets to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
