Donald Trump Jr Confronts Joy Behar: "You've Worn Blackface!"

Donald Trump Jr Confronts Joy Behar:

On Monday, President Trump tweeted, urging his followers to "Go order" Don Jr.'s book. As soon as Donald Jr. and Kim appeared at the hot topics table, originally to promote his book Triggered: How The Left Thrives On Hate And Wants To Silence Us, Abby Huntsman began the conversation by inquiring why he released the name of the whistle blower wrapped up in the impeachment inquiry. "I didn't question anybody, I simply said that when you're talking about your father taking more heat than anyone else (as president), that is not so".

He added: "I wish they would have shown a little bit of the same amount of outrage when my family opened up a white powder substance in an exploding envelope that showed up at my house". And a lot of people miss the soul of this country...does all of this make you feel good? McCain said. "People can go to the moment when my dad stopped someone from saying that Obama was a Muslim".

Then he swiped once more at The View co-hosts: "I think the title speaks for itself, because they were obviously triggered".

Hours after his wild appearance on "The View," Donald Trump Jr. quipped in another TV interview, "I don't think they like me anymore". "Whoopi you've said Roman Polanski... it wasn't rape-rape when he raped a child", Don Jr said.

"I don't think any of that makes me feel good, but I do think that we got into this because we wanted to do what's right for America", Trump responded.

"Now that you've broken this piece of ice, because I guess this is the fight you wanted, are you questioning my character?

I do spend a lot of time in middle America, I spend a lot of time there and honestly, people are happy", he said.

"If you believe that - and we did work together, and I do know you - try and bring civility back then", McCain replied. "But he took on the establishment, and that's the premier sin in American politics these days".

"At that position, the people who didn't want to sit alongside one another experienced previously been divided and supplied seats on the other side of the audience". "I think that there's mutual respect for that". "It's just, for me, it would not have been truly worth it", she advised him, "This would not have been really worth it".

Late last month, amid speculation that former Attorney General Jeff Sessions was planning a bid to return to his old Alabama Senate seat, Trump Jr. refused to nudge Sessions towards running, instead hedging on the question in an interview with Yellowhammer News, a conservative website in the state.

Meghan McCain and Joy Behar might be sparring partners on The View, but that doesn't mean they don't get along.

"You and your loved ones hold damage quite loads of of us...including the Khan family", @MeghanMcCain says. She brought up again Trump's attacks on Gold Star families "who have given the ultimate sacrifice and you put them through pain". This is part of being president. "Joy, you have worn blackface".

Arguing that their outrage over his father was hypocritical, Trump reminded Behar that she wore blackface and Goldberg that she defended Hollywood director Roman Polanski - who fled the U.S. ahead of sentencing for statutory rape. On the talk show's 5000th episode, McCain didn't miss a beat and interrupted the comedian, but this time it was to say something different. "I like people that weren't captured", Mr Trump infamously said in 2015.
