Three and World of Wonder - the production company behind the global Drag Race series - announced Wednesday the United Kingdom's first-ever franchise spin-off has been greenlit for season 2.

RuPaul's Drag Race is about to sashay its approach onto screens later this yr, giving 10 United Kingdom queens the possibility to make herstory and be topped the primary British champion.

The series has been nominated in the U.S. for a record-breaking 29 Emmys with 13 wins ad it became the first series to win Best Reality-Competition a year ago.

The first season of RuPaul's Drag Race UK continues on BBC Three until November 21.

The new season will once again feature eight episodes and those who think they've got what it takes to be crowned the UK's Next Drag Superstar only have until next Friday (15.11.19) to apply for the show.
