Beluga whale plays fetch with a rugby ball just like a dog

They were using an official 2019 Rugby World Cup ball, tossing it into the water for the marine mammal.

Many South Africans are still celebrating following the Boks' Rugby World Cup win against England last weekend in Japan.

The guys on the boat met a Beluga Whale and chose to have a bit of fun by playing catch with it.

New Zealand Herald reports that the video was taken by crew members aboard the Gemini Craft, which is now at sea in the Arctic Pole.

"Beluga Whale celebrating the Springboks victory somewhere close to the South Pole!", Alon Kowen captioned the video, which he posted on Wednesday.

The video, which gained thousands of views within several days, shows a crew member throwing a rugby ball for the animal, which obediently brings the ball back to the boat. Beluga whales, in case you hadn't already guessed, are incredibly intelligent.

"Man.this is one of the most attractive videos I've seen", said another user. Apparently that trait extends well beyond the beluga whales at waterparks.
