Netflix's 'Heartstrings' trailer reimagines Dolly Parton songs as dramas

The country music superstar made her debut in 1967, with her album Hello, I'm Dolly, which become an immediate success. Throughout the series, hits "Two Doors Down", "If I Had Wings", "JJ Sneed", "These Old Bones", "Down from Dover", "Sugar Hill", "Cracker Jack" and "Jolene" all get treated to their own episodes.

If you've been waiting for a peek at Dolly Parton's Heartstrings anthology, the wait is finally over.

"Dolly Parton's Heartstrings is an anthology series that showcases the stories, memories, and inspirations behind her most beloved songs.", says the caption of the trailer on YouTube. "Songs that I've written, they're stories of my life: Every triumph, every struggle, every smile, every sorrow. It's the sound of my heartstrings". And on November 22, a special Netflix original series will be premiered that pays tribute to Dolly Parton's lasting legacy with a new program titled Dolly Parton's Heartstrings.

The series will also star Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Kathleen Turner, Katie Stevens, Timothy Busfield, Gerald McRaney, Ginnifer Goodwin, Melissa Leo and Delta Burke.

The eight hour-long episodes range from love stories and family dramas to westerns and revenge comedies. And this is only eight of her songs.

Plus, see Julianne Hough and more stars in the images.

"Years back when I used to think of Jolene, you know, before Julianne came on, I used to think".

"She would have been great at that as well".
