Ohio State expecting Chase Young to get 4-game suspension

Ohio State expecting Chase Young to get 4-game suspension

Young, who has since repaid that loan, leads all of FBS with 13.5 sacks, and had even jumped into the Heisman Trophy conversation.

Some help from a family friend could cost Ohio State's Chase Young the rest of the regular season.

James, an OH native and big Buckeyes fan, sounded off against the NCAA for its move against Young on Saturday in a series of tweets - joining the countless others who aren't happy with the NCAA.

ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit reported that he expected a four game suspension would come down, though Ohio State refuted that report on Saturday - saying it has no idea what, if any, suspension will hold.

Judging off his recent posts on Twitter, James believes the NCAA doesn't care about the student-athletes.

James' stance against the NCAA is nothing new.

Young will already be sitting out Saturday's game against Maryland. "And since y'all always wanna know more he paid it back to his family member". The school is hopeful, however, that they will be able to get the length of the suspension reduced on appeal. "Only about how they can make them [money]", referring to the NCAA.

Lebron James is seen on the field prior to the game between the Michigan Wolverines and Ohio State Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium on November 26, 2016 in Columbus, Ohio.

Young, a Maryland native, is considered a potential No. 1 pick in the upcoming 2020 National Football League draft.
