Robyn Crawford speaks about her relationship with Whitney Houston

"I'd notice that she would go ahead and do it".

Whitney Houston's best friend and longtime rumored lover, Robyn Crawford, has revealed more details about her romantic relationship with the late singer and how Houston's mother disapproved. And then, not long after that, we spent the night together.

Crawford explained that she would remind the How Will I Know singer that they said doing coke couldn't go where they were going, and they were already there. Hintlemann's LinkedIn page says she was previously entertainment director for Elle UK Magazine, editorial projects director for Esquire Magazine, and special projects editor for GQ. I still loved her the same.

'The music business was a world we were learning, ' Crawford said. "She was having difficulty stopping", Robyn said of Whitney's drug use, and her difficulty with stopping.

ET recently spoke to songwriter Diane Warren - who wrote numerous songs for Houston - at the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's Patron of the Artists Awards, and she shared how she felt about the upcoming release Crawford's new memoir. Crawford says Houston ended the physical side of their relationship in 1982 but the two remained close for many years afterwards. She also talked about Houston's relationship with Eddie Murphy, revealing that even while she was heavily pursued by Bobby Brown back in 1989, "She was more interested in Eddie Murphy, but he was elusive". "Would she understand the time is now".

Houston and Brown were married from 1992 to 2007.


Despite being as close as they were, their physical intimacy came to a halt before Houston became a celebrity. Her death, tragically like her mother's, was related to her drug use. "That evening was the night that we touched and that just brought us closer".

"I just felt that I wouldn't be losing much".

At the age of 22, Bobbi Kristina's life met a tragic ending similar to her mother's.

Crawford adds, "I believe that Whitney told her daughter about the love and the care and the bond and the trust that we had".

"I desired to elevate her legacy, give her respect and share the tale of who she was just before the fame, and in that, to embrace our friendship." she spelled out. Our story. And I hope that in doing so, I can set us both free'.
