Saturday marks one of, if not the biggest game in the college season as No. 2 LSU takes on No. 3 Alabama in a game that will undoubtedly shake up the next round of College Football Playoff rankings on Tuesday. Burrow gets credit for the Tigers' turnaround this year, but Edwards-Helaire deserves his share for willing his team to a win when it counted most.

LSU already has wins against three top 10 teams this season, so will come in sharp.

This game ended up being the classic we expected.

LSU defensive coordinator Dave Aranda, whom coach Ed Orgeron said had been working on his game plan "for a long time", was able to slow down Alabama's RPO-based screen and slant passing game.

It's probably safe to assume Tua Tagovailoa was hoping the first half of Saturday's game would go a little better.

Miami Dolphins fans will tell you that the better quarterback today is Tua Tagovailoa and not Joe Burrow of LSU. I said that's the game I want to go to. Harris' second touchdown was made possible by a 12-yard run on fourth-and-1 to move the Tide to the doorstep of the end zone. Perhaps the complexion of the game is completely different. But Joe Burrow didn't shrink either. "To let them score two touchdowns in the last 30 seconds of the half is ridiculous and makes a big difference in the game and [how] you have to play the game in the second half". Everyone always talks about Heisman moments. The LSU quarterback threw for 393 yards and three touchdowns, completing 31 of his 39 passes. Alabama has not faced any team that is now ranked.

The meeting between No. 1 LSU and No. 2 Alabama is a rematch of the much talked-about Game of the Century in 2011, which the Tigers won in overtime 9-6.

Marty Smith details the magnitude of the upcoming LSU vs. Alabama matchup in Tuscaloosa. We talked to Odell Beckham Jr. and other former Tigers stars about the team's transformation and looked at the key characters behind its success.
