Los Angeles County sheriff's officials told reporters Friday that Stanley Alfred Lawton and Shaniya Nicole Poche-Lawton dumped the woman near Edwards Air Force Base north of Los Angeles.

The woman, who is in her 40s, knew the two, Hernandez said. The father and daughter each face charges of kidnapping to commit a robbery, attempted murder, kidnapping from outside the state, rape, and first-degree ATM robbery.

On Nov. 6, she was dumped by the side of the road in rural Kern County, California, north of Los Angeles. It was not clear if they had lawyers who could speak on their behalf.

He confirmed the Lawtons know the victim but are not related to her; he added that there is nothing yet that indicates the crime was motivated by revenge or that there was a ransom plot involved. The FBI is investigating the abduction with the Los Angeles County and North Las Vegas law enforcement.North Las Vegas law enforcement ended up accumulating details and did not quickly have comment.

"She's very fortunate to be alive", Hernandez claimed.

After kidnapping her at gunpoint, authorities say Lawton and his daughter took her to his property in Palmdale, California.

They also accused of robbing her at ATMs on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, in accordance to court docket files. Authorities would not say how much money was taken.

On Friday, Hernandez stated investigators consider the Palmdale house the place the sufferer was allegedly held and the place police arrested the suspects is Stanley Lawton's residence.

Sheriff's detectives have been working on the case in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the North Las Vegas Police Department, the captain said.

Lawton was arrested on Wednesday and Poche-Lawton on Thursday. "It's at gunpoint, it's by force - that victim is then transported across state line, held in a house inside of a room for at least a week". Air Force officials could not right away be arrived at for remark.
