Alanis Morissette bringing 2020 tour to Blossom

Fellow '90s sensations Liz Phair and Garbage will join Morissette, 45, on tour.

Morissette will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of her debut album "Jagged Little Pill" on the tour.

Morissette is one busy woman as this week also marks the debut of her Broadway show, "Jagged Little Pill" at the Broadhurst Theatre in NY. The album, which Rolling Stone ranked among the 500 greatest of all-time, has inspired a Broadway show that debuts on December 5.

Tickets to her show go on sale Friday, Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. on LiveNation, but presales start Thursday.

Morissette also plans to release a new album May 1, 2020 called "Such Pretty Forks in the Road".

The musical based on her seminal 1995 album also includes new songs written by Morissette and Glen Ballard, Smiling and Predator, and a storyline by Diablo Cody that incorporates Morissette's angry young woman theme. The album produced two singles that reached the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 1996: "Ironic" at No. 4 and "You Learn/You Oughta Know" at No. 6. In 2020, that album will turn 25 years old.
