Hey Google - What's going on with the Pixel 4's delayed security updates?

There have been many reports of the update causing the Pixel Launcher to continuously crash when using Android 10's new gesture navigation.

Google further improved the screen of the Pixel 4, stretching the OLED display to a 19:9 ratio as well as increasing refresh rates to 90Hz for smoother gaming and browsing. In the meantime if you haven't updated your Pixel 3 or 3a device you may want to hold off if you also use the new gesture navigation. Google Nest WiFi comes in three variations, 2-pack, 3-pack and 4-pack; all named by the number of satellite points they come with.

Many resorted to factory resetting their affected devices since the constantly appearing pop-up prevented them from navigating through the OS for a possible alternate fix. Notably, there are some interesting changes the update brings to Pixel 3 and pixel 3XL devices. Google has since updated us on the situation through their Pixel Phone community, stating that the Pixel 4 line will receive their December updates "next week". The 2019 Pixel phones are also getting Dark Mode support support in bootloader with the latest security update.

Released only last October 2019, the Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL feature the much-anticipated upgrades of the outstanding cameras of its predecessor. There's also a mention of a fix for "Pixel Wallet display in power menu". Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile and AT&T all offer attractive service plans for and unlocked versions of the latest iPhone 11, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note10 Plus, Pixel 4 XL, LG, OnePlus, Motorola and more Android cell phones.
