Taylor Swift announces new Christmas single

Taylor Swift announces new Christmas single

Her music video is made up of home videos featuring her mother Andrea, her father Scott, and her brother Austin living on their Christmas tree farm in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Swift teased the release on Thursday, revealing she wrote a new Christmas song and didn't want to wait a full year for it to come out.

In the video, the Bad Blood singer said, "I know this is pretty wild, but I've just written a Christmas song". "When in doubt, ask the itty bitty pretty kitty committee". When they shun you with silence, ambivalence, and judgemental brush offs... just put the song out anyway.

Swift released "Christmas Tree Farm" at midnight. "Meredith, should I put out a Christmas song, like, now?" This part is not: "In a gingerbread house, deep within the yummy gummy gumdrop forest".

"I've just written a Christmas song".

FOX Business' Grady Trimble breaks down the political attack on private equity in response to Taylor Swift's lack of control over her older songs.

This song comes after a whirlwind of a year after releasing her seventh album, Lover. "Uhm. guys. Look at the date". One Twitter user theorized, "November 23 1989".

It then cuts to home videos the the 1990s showing the Grammy victor as a toddler as she prances around the farm covered in snow as her mom Andrea, takes in these precious moments.

Admittedly, that's a bit of a stretch-but we do know Swift likes to hide clues in her songs and videos, so nothing is totally off the table.
